Playas que admiten perros en Alghero

An official fenced dog area at the northern end of the long Maria Pia beach, marked off by a low reed fence and granted by the Comune di Alghero for dogs and owners. Dogs can swim under supervision, but there is no shade or water on site, so bring your own.

The city's second official dog beach, run alongside Maria Pia under the Comune's dog-beach concessions for non-profit associations. It is a managed shoreline stretch set aside for dogs and their owners, with the same registration and hygiene rules as Maria Pia.

Alghero's long sandy city beach beside the lungomare, with shallow clear water. Dogs are not permitted on the lido during the summer bathing season, but the seafront promenade alongside it is open to leashed dogs year-round.
